Innovate UK Contracts for Innovation, formerly known as The Small Business Research Initiative or SBRI, offer innovative organisations the chance to work directly with the public sector to solve complex challenges. This relationship is mutually beneficial and brings about unique benefits for both parties.
Contracts for Innovation competitions are open any size and type of organisation, including businesses of any size, academic and research organisations and not-for-profits and charities.
From now until the 17th January 2025, this website will be available to allow you to search and find potential partners for your projects. This will help to facilitate 1:1 meetings to discuss project opportunities and facilitate introductions between organisations to help develop innovative clean energy demonstrators in Tanzania. It will also host a series of webinars to equip you with the knowledge of the energy landscape in Tanzania.
The aim of these webinars and the virtual marketplace is to help organisations gain an understanding of the energy access issues in Tanzania and to develop equitable partnerships leading to a collaborative application for Contracts for Innovation Clean Energy Demonstrators competition. So we are excited to bring together thought leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts from Tanzania and the UK to deliver inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
